Jiayin Zhang

Biography

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from South China Normal University and my Master’s degree from Peking University.

Research

I am interested in human-centered GIScience and social sensing, particularly in understanding human experiences in place such as emotion, perception, cognition, behavior, and environmental adaptation. My research aims to address real-world challenges of spatial and social inequality, urban well-being, and health within urban systems. I seek to develop an integrated approach that connects geography and psychology to better understand human–environment interactions.
