Maedeh Rahimi

Research

I explore computational methods for scientific knowledge extraction and representation, drawing on natural language processing, machine learning, LLMs, and structured domain knowledge. My current research uses hydrology as an application domain to investigate how scientific concepts can be identified and represented from unstructured text.
I am interested in developing methods that connect scientific information with structured knowledge, supporting knowledge discovery, management, and synthesis across disciplines.
