Madison Heffentrager

Biography

I am interested in sediment movement and the processes that induce this transportation within dune and coastal systems. I enjoy learning about geomorphic change within the environment, as well as the technologies that collect and produce these data (GIS, LiDAR, TLS). My background is primarily in coastal processes and geomorphology with a focus on washover fan formation. I received my M.S. in Geography from East Carolina University with a thesis focus on dune line channel dimension effects on overwash.
