The labs will take place in the Geography Department's Star laboratory. They use standard and open source web mapping tools, so should be doable from any workstation on campus, such as a laptop in your down or a desktop in the library. Keeping up with labs is highly recommended, as the lectures, readings and labs are closely tied together.

Assignment of Grades

Grades will be assigned on the basis of the following weighting.

Mid-Term examination. Multiple choice 21%.
Final Examination. 30 questions, worked examples and definitions. 30%.
Assignments 1 to 7: 7 percentage points each.
