GEOG 3A Course Description,
from UCSB's Course Catalog: |
"Study of basic processes that determine
flows of energy through the atmosphere and oceans. Distribution and
characteristics of major atmospheric and oceanic features and interactions
between them. Interrelationships between human societies and oceanic and
atmospheric variability."
Prerequisites: none; open to geography and
non-geography majors
