This is my homepage with a few links I think may be useful.

To begin, I worked at the Remote Sensing Research Unit
(RSRU) from 1994 through 1998. RSRU is associated with the Geography Department at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB).
While attending graduate school at UCSB and conducting research at RSRU,
I worked on numerous GIS and remote sensing projects. The most notable
of these was the management and creation of a terrestrial GIS Managed Areas Database
(MAD). This database was the first known comprehensive protected
and managed areas database ever compiled in digital format for the conterminous
United States
I also managed the creation of a GIS database of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) for the state of California. This MPA database was developed through a grant from the California SeaGrant Extension program. The database is available via the internet. If you are interested in information for this MPA Database, click here.
Prior to completing my Master's thesis and leaving grad school, I also worked on a spatial accuracy assessment of the managed area boundaries in the MAD database. The results from this analysis can be located within the MAD homepage as well as in chapter 4 of my Master's thesis. A journal article describing this accuracy assessment is in the works. A reference to this article will be linked here when it is complete. I still collaborate with UCSB Geography Dept staff and manage the MAD website.
After leaving grad school, I began work as the GIS Specialist, and then moved to GIS Coordinator, at the Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD). There, I manage the GIS for the water network infrastructure and for the natural resources on the MMWD managed watershed. In addition, I act as a UNIX system administrator and manage the integration project between ESRI GIS and SAP. Due to our integration between ESRI and SAP systems, I play the role of co-founder and co-chair for the ESRI SAP User Group (ESUG). Also, I act as a member of the Steering Committee for the MarinMap project, which is a consortium of Marin County agencies designed to share GIS data and applications.
Here is my resumay/vitae. Yes, I know it's spelled wrong, but that keeps the spammers away...
For fun, here are some of my outdoors pictures.
