Honors:
Catherine was the Director of the Institute of Computational Earth System Science, 1996-2002 and CEO of Planet Earth Science Inc., 1994-2004. She is noted for her development of award winning education software for K-12, is a member of the National Academy of Science Earth Science Committee (sub-committee of Space Science committee), a member of the National Academy Ad-hoc review committee for Triana Satellite, and a member of Principal Investigator Teams--DoE Atmospheric Radiation Measurement Program (1990 - present) and NASA Atmospheric Infrared Remote Sensing AIRS (1990 - present).
