Dr. Chris Still, currently a Post Doc at UC Berkeley, has accepted our offer to join the UCSB Geography faculty as an Assistant Professor. While the appointment starts in July, Dr. Still will spend most of the next academic year at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, CO. He will make periodic visits to UCSB, to set up his research lab, and to consult with faculty and students. He will begin a full schedule of teaching in the Fall of 2003.
