My recent research has focused on applying remote sensing
of aerosols to improve forecasts of fog and visibility. My
Master's thesis, completed in June 2005, explored this concept
using data from several AERONET and ASOS stations in California.
I'm also looking at MODIS and GOES data as I continue for the
PhD, now in my third year at UC Santa Barbara's Geography
department. My broader interests include everything (that's
why I'm studying geography). |
